We'll confirm directions, organize a snack,
& alert the guard to expect you
when you reach our gate atThe Arsenal.
In addition,OPEN HOUSE is held here most Saturdays, 12–4.
You will still need those directions,
and as there will be weeks when we CANNOT be open,
for example, Christmas & New Year's Days! —
you'll need to confirm your plan with us.

But if you are shy about making a private appointment
or like the idea of maybe meeting other book lovers here —
why, come to us on a Saturday!

Please note that we can't receive visitors
    EXCEPT by appointment or on Saturday afternoons . . .
because . . .

The staff does not receive in the partners' absence; and our stock can be only partly arrayed in browsable sections.  So if there are particular things or even kinds of things you will wish to see, we'll need to pull them for you the day before your visit.  Also, of course, we'll want to be sure that the right PRB&M'er — the one who knows the most about your kinds of books! — is here and free to attend you.
